I too was able to update the firmware without issue. No issues with 3D or head tracking so far. Will post if I find/encounter any of the bugs listed by others.- Avarice

You can actually still use the LDAC codec with 3D as long as you change "Bluetooth Audio Sample Rate" to 48.0 kHz in Developer options (the default is 96.0 kHz).- Avarice

Thanks for posting your findings. It is a little weird that the headset's battery discharges when left plugged in and turned off. Though I think I remember Kmann or another user explaining why the battery discharges last year via the forums. Hopefully it can fixed at some point!- Avarice

That's good to hear the upcoming firmware could fix the volume issue. I forgot that the headset will turn itself off after enough time of inactivity; I'll give that a go sometime! So you have no issues with the battery discharging when you leave it plugged in though? I'm curious why it wouldn't...- Avarice

I've noticed the exact same behavior. The volume starts really, really low even though the volume is at my normal preferred listening levels. Once I adjust the slider up or down 1 or 2 points, and then bring it back to the previous volume, it's back to normal. I will say that this only tends to...- Avarice

I'm always at 30% in Windows when in 7.1 channel, and 28% when in Hi-Res. Keep most of my game master volumes at their defaults.- Avarice

This is interesting to hear for me as well. I've had both a bluetooth and USB connection active at the same time (with both sources playing audio), and can never get simultaneous playback to work. My Mobius just plays one source's audio until I manually switch it back to the other source via a...- Avarice

While that is a fair point, I don't run the gain at max level. It usually sits at 68-76%. Anything lower than that, and then I get people in Discord telling me I'm too quite (resulting in them needing to boost my volume manually). And yes, I've made sure the mic is pointing in the correct...- Avarice

I agree with you on this. The mic to my ears had the best combination of sensitivity and noise-cancelling/noisegate with the 2018.9.26 firmware that added the "Warm" preset. The mic using the latest public v3 update that includes the extra mic improvements from the 2018.11.01 firmware is a...- Avarice

Has anyone else noticed that with firmware v3 the mic is indeed almost too sensitive? I'm noticing that there is a constant white noise being picked up by the mic, no matter how quiet my environment is. It is definitely audible in voice recording, and it's extremely noticeable when checking...- Avarice

I've found that a good way to hear the hiss/white noise on my unit is to have the Mobius plugged in via the included AUX cable and then turning up the volume using the volume wheel on the Mobius to the 70-100% range. Nothing needs to be plugged in to the other end of the AUX. Now I will say that...- Avarice

I too have noticed that leaving the Mobius plugged in via USB causes the battery to discharge even when the headphones are powered off. Strangely enough, as long as I make sure to unplug them after powering down both my computer and the Mobius, then there is no issue. I can also confirm that the...- Avarice

I've managed to get the mic to work pretty well via USB. I will start by saying that making adjustments in Windows 10 via "Microphone Properties" had no impact in my testing. Like some people have mentioned, the biggest improvement comes from making sure the mic is as close to your mouth as...- Avarice
