I was on the V3 firmware that was released back in November of last year.

I too was able to update the firmware without issue. No issues with 3D or head tracking so far. Will post if I find/encounter any of the bugs listed by others.

You can actually still use the LDAC codec with 3D as long as you change "Bluetooth Audio Sample Rate" to 48.0 kHz in Developer options (the default is 96.0 kHz).

Thanks for posting your findings. It is a little weird that the headset's battery discharges when left plugged in and turned off. Though I think I remember Kmann or another user explaining why the battery discharges last year via the forums. Hopefully it can fixed at some point!
