Does anyone know what weight savings on 1060 you get with the $25 3d grilles and hifiman headband mod? I do like the look, but most important to me is how to shave some weight off.

You are both exactly right. I have never encountered any plug that required this sort of effort, but here it is. Now, how do I disconnect these plugs WITHOUT using a pair of pliers! LOL.

I am having lots of issues with the 2.5mm connections on the headphones...both are loose fitting, audio is constantly cutting out, plugs like to fall off..not much grip to them at all. Theses are the new version 2's. Is there a REAL fix for this other than returning them? I don't see how that...

In regards to wood cracking, I am an owner of the original batch and have had NO problems. What I did do when I first heard of the problem was to remove the covers and using a Q tip coat as much wood as I could with cutting board paste. So far so good.
