AKG K812 Pro, underrated?
I have fitted the earkaps around the transducer with a thin open filter material that is normally used for air breathing filters. This gives me personally very good result in the music reproduction in all areas for the k812. It is a simple tweak and I have tested it extensively with and without...- audioot

AKG K812 Pro
I recognize this euphoria in terms of sonarworks 4 with the akg 812. sounds insanely good and would certainly not be possible without sonarworks.- audioot

Raal Ribbon Headphones - SRH1A
Regardless of the unique display quality that you should appeal to or not, I wonder how the price development of this headphone will proceed if competing brands with ribbon-driven models come on the market. I personally think that the current model comes across as an incomplete concept with a...- audioot

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone
Well, the sound quality of the meze is simply not good enough compared to other cheaper headphones. The appearance and build quality is exceptionally perfect, but you don't purchase headphones for that.- audioot

Raal Ribbon Headphones - SRH1A
Ok, thanks for your response. In the case of extremely low ohm impendance cables, it is therefore not advisable to keep them long. So rather thick speaker cables AWG 14 or lower gives the best result here. Greetings from Holland- audioot

Raal Ribbon Headphones - SRH1A
My interest in the Raal SRH1A is certainly awakened after extensive listening tests and I really enjoy the sound reproduction. I would like to control this with a Passlabs 350 power amplifier But I have a practical problem. Because I want to listen about 19 feet from the installation I am...- audioot

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone
Yes, thank you, it is not meant as criticism, but I experience the sound experience that way. Many will appreciate the Meze, but not me. With a tube amplifier I found them to be woolly and dull but with solid state amplifiers this was less but still present- audioot

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone
I have been able to listen to the Meze EMPYREAN extensively on different amplifiers and found it to be disappointing compared to headphones in the same price range. In fact, headphones around $ 1000 sounded better. Not an option for me. The Raal requisite, on the other hand, sounded very good.- audioot

AKG K812 Pro
the akg k812 has been playing through sonarworks for some time. i love it so far. However, I have again placed an acoustic vilt off 1 mm. inside the ventilating cups. the display is thereby positively improved, in particular the low and high are more in balance. see it as an acoustic adjustment...- audioot

AKG K812 Pro, underrated?
What I am wondering is, for example, the magnet strength of bv an HD600 and K702 or more of these headhones compared to the akg 812- audioot

AKG K812 Pro, underrated?
Hello, thanks for this clear info. The akg therefore has a more powerful magnetic field. This, together with the smaller and lighter voice coil, makes it a better reproducer technically. The display of lower frequencies requires a stronger magnetic field so therefore the AKG performs better...- audioot

AKG K812 Pro, underrated?
Is there any indication which magnet system is more powerful between the akg k 812 versus senheiser hd 800s. Neodymium versus Tesla. I am very interested in the differentiates between these cones.- audioot

AKG K812 Pro
it is of course your personal opinion but do not agree with your points. your statement is too easy. there is certainly a more balanced sound image perceptible with sonarworks- audioot

AKG K812 Pro
I can assure you that the peak at 5 Khz with sonarworks will certainly be cleaned away. with sonarworks the k812 headphone is definitely better sound-technically speaking.- audioot
