Also should i just consider getting an amp instead of a DAC?

oh ok i see what u mean. Now running an amp and dac through your usb would bypass your soundcard and jack giving you a more pure form of audio correct?   And will the fiio e10 really produce a noticeable difference or should i just save the money?

Im sure this is a dumb question but what is a line level signal and why will it result in less than optimal sound?

Im extremely new to this and just needed some help. Is it possible to just use a DACand no amp? Also is there any way to use one with a laptop in order to bypass the soundcard in the laptop ? Also would it be worth it to use a DAC with my se215,s? and last question does anyone have any thougs...
