    I noticed you have the takstar 2050 and senn 558. I'm trying to decide between those two. Both are open right? Which has better soundstage and bass?

    The m50s are definitely worth the extra 30. They sound amazing and I'd recommend it to anyone especially as a gift. Comfort could be better at first but it breaks in and I can wear them all day now. Fantastic for the money.

    Sony MDR v6. I had those forever until upgrading to an m50. The sonys were very comfortable and lasted me over ten years

    I like that the 558 runs good without an amp. Does the X1 at least sound ok unamped? I thought that for those high end headphones an expensive amp is required and I don't have the cash to spare for that :(

    Do these have more or less bass than Audio technical m50? I have the M50s and want a cheap earbud because my apple earpods lack subbass. The m50 bass is perfect for me, any more and it's too much and any less doesn't feel right.

    I've heard 558 and 598 are close, and 558 has more bass? The Dt990 people call it too bright. And X1 is too much. :(

    First post here, if you could please help me out. I currently have Audio Technica ATH-M50 and love them. The more I've learned about audio though I keep hearing that open headphones in general sound better. With that in mind, I don't have a huge budget but I'd like to experience some decent open...
