PLA is very hard and stiff, but relatively brittle. It is popular because it is easy to very cheap and print with, but it's not the best choice for this. If there is an option of comparable cost for ABS, PETG, nylon, semi-rigid TPU, those would be better choices for long-term use.   That said...

It depends a little bit on the material and the infill (how solid the inside of the models are). At 50% and ABS, the smaller adapters are about 2-3g per side.

Wish I had 1 day turn-around. They've had my LCD3F for more than a week; I'm still waiting for acknowledgment that they have it at all.   Mine was purchased new last November, serial #2821XXX. Right-side driver died.
