Audeze SINE Series
I'm afraid that I don't have any experience with those pads and their attachment mechanism. They look like they have the usual bit of stretchy leather that goes around a rim, but the video I watched showed that they click into place? Without having a set in hand, it'd be difficult for me to...- ASRSPR

Audeze SINE Series
They don't change the shapes of the pads much since the outer lip of the adapters fit underneath the padding.- ASRSPR

Audeze SINE Series
PLA is very hard and stiff, but relatively brittle. It is popular because it is easy to very cheap and print with, but it's not the best choice for this. If there is an option of comparable cost for ABS, PETG, nylon, semi-rigid TPU, those would be better choices for long-term use. That said...- ASRSPR

Audeze SINE Series
It depends a little bit on the material and the infill (how solid the inside of the models are). At 50% and ABS, the smaller adapters are about 2-3g per side.- ASRSPR

Audeze SINE Series
Just in time for anyone who got a pair of Sines for Christmas, I've made my own take on the pad adapters. If you've got a 3D printer (some of which are less expensive than the Sine!), they're available as a free download here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1995271 Thanks to inertianinja...- ASRSPR

☯️ Cavalli Audio's Liquid Carbon... a $599 Cavalli amp???
I contacted Cavalli support and they were able to sort me out. If anyone is having trouble getting Warren to transfer their first run LC warranty, that is probably the best bet.- ASRSPR

☯️ Cavalli Audio's Liquid Carbon... a $599 Cavalli amp???
Has anyone managed to do a warranty transfer recently (per http://www.head-fi.org/t/796889/cavalli-audio-liquid-carbon-lifetime-warranty#post_12303459)? I've sent Warren a few messages asking him to do this for me through both email and Head-Fi PM over the last 5 months and have heard nothing...- ASRSPR

Grado modders go Magnum
I've just begun to look into grado modding, so forgive me if this is a trivial question: what's the deal with the V7 on http://symphones.com? Unless my google-fu is completely screwy, there doesn't seem to be any information on HF about it at all. It's doubly confusing because it seems to have...- ASRSPR

How Many Times Have Your LCD3 Headphones Been Returned to Audeze for Servicing (RMA)?
Wish I had 1 day turn-around. They've had my LCD3F for more than a week; I'm still waiting for acknowledgment that they have it at all. Mine was purchased new last November, serial #2821XXX. Right-side driver died.- ASRSPR

LH Labs Geek Out v2+ Discussion Thread
It's certainly an improvement, but with all the drama over the case and with details of the revision already delayed, I'd have hoped for better pictures. Hopefully we'll see a more representative image with the final finish soon.- ASRSPR

Audeze LCD-3 Impressions Thread
Curiously enough, when I put my serial number (282 prefix) into their checker, it shows up as invalid. It's a brand new unit (August 31 manufacture) from an authorized dealer in the United States, so I'm pretty sure that it's (probably) not a counterfeit. I've inquired with them about that as...- ASRSPR

Audeze LCD-3 Impressions Thread
Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll go drop them a line right now. I am curious about the fact that the 6.3->3.5mm adapter works fine though. I guess it's just one of those things where the tolerances (or, lack thereof) just happen to match up. But wow. Cable issues aside, the LCD-3 already...- ASRSPR

Audeze LCD-3 Impressions Thread
Just got my new LCD-3, which would be very exciting except that I don't get any audio on the right channel with the stock single-ended cable. It's the same on four different amps (Gustard H10, Sony UDA1, Schiit Magni 2U, Project Ember II) that all work fine with all my other headphones. If I...- ASRSPR
