I can tell about Beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro vs AEON. I had 1770 in the past and for my memory i could not use them more than 30 min. It was good sound with nice bass, but overall it was too harsh and annoying. Mids are more present in AEON, overall i found AEON more musical and neutral than 1770...

I can confirm that AEON really good for metal music(death, doom) for 8 hours in my office via mojo and nothing can stop me to get 10 hours.

I tried my AEON with Schiit lyr and from Mojo alone. I prefer from the Mojo directly. Lyr does not gives much in terms of bass or dynamic but adds some blur to the sound. AEON is nice pair for Mojo!

Finally AEON arrived to Moscow! First impressions are so good! The is no upper mids trouble to my taste. Bass is just right! That kind of what I was looking for years! I have many question from local HeadFI community. Going to make a full review for local folks. Many Thanks to Dan! Good job!
