i said noise not sound... neway i could hear a crackling noise.. quite prominent.. even on moderate volume

I was playing Little wing- Jimi Hendrix (flac) from my computer and i heard noticeable noise.   Is this in any way normal? please help

Ohh BTW. ive been using them with my ipod touch 4gen. the button works well - starts voice control on double click.    ive also been using them with my BB curve and samsung galaxy Y. both support the mic.
