    The Aeolus is comfortable for me but definitely weighty. I have universal suede pads and the pilot headband pads which although makes them feel like cushion for my head, there's still pretty stiff. I can wear it for around 4-5 hours too before I can feel it as well.

    Ah okay, I guess it'd be better to slightly boost the bass with Schiit Loki or iFi amps with xBass.

    Gotcha. I have a Topping D90/A90 stack which I know is super overkill but that's for driving my Arya/Aeolus.

    Awesome review! I've been considering the K371 or the DT177x for mixing/mastering music and film. From your review it sounds like the DT177x might sound too fun for mixing, like I would enjoy how it sounds while creating a sound design and then it won't sound as good on someone else's...
