Well if it helps ur judgement, I sometimes carry an Iriver H340, Portable pimeta and dt770/250. Admittedly, there is a loss of bass with the portable amp, but it's still pretty good. I'd probably say get the 80ohm version? People say the bass in them is tighter, but i'm gettin mine recabled soon...

Reading the paper today, the Iriver H10 20GB is available at JB Hi-fi for $397. Agree with others tho, probably the other 20GB players may be better. Lovin my H340 still!
