Thanks to your kind persuation, I just bought a set of Stax SR-001mk2s off the For Sale forum. Can't wait to get them! The chance to try the Stax sound and the differences in sound signature to my Etys clinched the deal. I can come back with some impressions once i receive them.

I am running a balanced HD650 with a Zu cable through a Rudistor NX-33 from a Classé Audio Cd player, and I am loving the sound! (Sorry about the bad picture, but it gets larger if you click on it)

Get a Behringer V-amp, or a Pod! I use a V-Amp2, and it can be used as an effects-box, but also has a good headphoe out. I use it to practise mye guitar without bothering my roommates. Highly Recommended!

I've been listening to my ER4ps for 10-12 hours every day for the last two-three months. I've been sttudying most of the time, listening VERY low, and somtimes just using them for the isolation, and I think they're great.

I see the price has gone up €300, so there should be improvements. I was set on paying €1000, but €1300 is a bit too much for me. Still just a student.
