You should look at the gaming oriented headphones if you want a mic.   I wouldnt recommend headphones with a mic for iphone use because IMO you would look a bit silly with a gaming headset talking through the mic walking down the street or something

Dont get the M50's for gaming, you should go with an open headphone unless you need the sound blocking of a closed set

You could always try buying a headphone with a different sound signature instead of trying to upgrade.

pretty much anything recomended on these forums is better for less then half the price, but if its bass and closed headphones you want get the m50's

cant go wrong with the m50 for bass

the G35 is virtual 7.1 not real, only the real 5.1/7.1 headsets are bad.   I would go with some Sennheiser gaming headphones, not sure what model fits your price range but there are ones with mics

you just got a dud, the m50's are extremely durable compared to non DJ headphones like the A700's

Has anybody seen this before?     aperently you can mod these 50$ headphones to sound like a HD800 with more bass for the trade off of a little worse mids and highs.   delete this post if it was inappropriate, i just wanted to know whats up

theres no specifics since its a new fake and not many people have it/know they have it.   But general build quality, sound quality and unsmooth edges on the plastic would be your best bet in looking for a fake.
