FIIO’s innovative sub brand, SNOWSKY On-Ear Headphones WIND come out!
Looking for a discreet option for the office, I found this new Fiio SnowSky WIND on-ear. I saw that it is semi-open (so it should be comfortable), and on the website that it provides some isolation. What's the difference in this regard (attenuation) compared to a open-back (like Koss PortaPro)?- Ander

MQA.... Scam or not?
At first I toughtMQA was better, but then I bought a Topping E50 and realized that my iFi Dac nano was not dealing very well with non-MQA stuff. Then, both sounded the same to me, tested in Qobuz and Tidal. I do prefer Tidal due to more underground albuns/titles that I like. Well.. If you have...- Ander

iFi Zen DAC V2 Amp or iFi Zen Air CAN + iFi Zen Air DAC ?
Nice, well, I don´t need balanced. I saw in specifications that the power consumption is "< 1.5W via USB power OR 5v DC", so a 5V/1A linear power supply is more than enought to power the Zen Dac v2, right?- Ander

iFi Zen DAC V2 Amp or iFi Zen Air CAN + iFi Zen Air DAC ?
If I just want to use with unbalanced outputs and easy-driving headphone (Grado SR225), mostly 16bit/44.1kHz pcm files, is the result between the two the same? I mean, is the implementation of the DSD1793 session dac chip the same?- Ander

Who remembers the Sennheiser PX100?
I’dont think they bleed sound like crazy. My Grado SR225 do. The most enjoyable characteristic about this Sennheiser px-100 is that they don’t give me listening fatigue like my Grado. But man, there are many other qualities in this headphone. I use them only in-house and treat like gold too...- Ander

iFi Audio Nano iDSD discussion + impression
Hi! I am concerned about connecting iFi iDSD Nano (Usb 2.0) to a smartphone through a USB Type-C 3.1 (with iFi OTG cable that is 3.0 version, for example). If I forget to turn on iFi iDSD DAC before attach to the Smartphone: 1) Will It try to use Smarphone's power (3.1) at higher...- Ander

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)
Is It possible to listen to youtube videos using the dac chip with Meizu smartphones? There are some great rare albuns in youtube. Lg V10 had a program to allow other apps to use the dac.- Ander

AudioQuest Dragonfly Review : Affordable, Outstanding, Tiny DAC / Amp
Quote: When both the music player and the main operating system volume control are set to maximum, shouldn't It cut off the sound in headphone? I tought It would act as line out (no sound at all).- Ander

Review by 'Ander' on item 'Klipsch S3M-Blue-HP In-Ear Headphone, Blue'
A honest IEM for listening without any analytical purpose. The sound is just better than common, nothing more. But is perfected by an amazing isolation and comfort. It´s also very easy to fit in and take out. I must say these ones are ideal for occasions where you can sweat because this phone...- Ander

Is Sansa Clip + really that good?!
About the navigation improvements, I think the original rockbox GUI is a pain, but, as I said, using a mixed theme rockbox became even better than original stock. About the SQ, I assure that I got improvements. A fuller sound (tweaking by software for sure). I must add that I use my unity...- Ander

Is Sansa Clip + really that good?!
(english) When I purchased mine I didn't got impressed at all, something lacking in dynamic, a punchier drum... So I decided give to rockbox a try and I must say I'm happier with my Clip+ now. Perhaps I don't care only about Hi-Fi, but Hi-Fun-factor, so (for me) the SQ got much enjoyable and...- Ander
