Hph200 is best choice for portable and outdoor use,they will sound excellent on the street but at home after about 10 minutes of listening their heavy midbass will hurt my ears btw they present music in a beautiful way rich and smooth with forward soundstage so musical

Dt880 is so comfortable and there is no problem with my glasses they touch the ears but even pro version (with more clamp) will disappear on head after 3 minutes but stay away if you like dark sound you can go for k7xx that also comfy

sonarworks Is musthave for dt880 pro you can try their demo it may sound a little dark at first but thats accurate treble response. You will get more subbass more upper midrange and less treble in exchange for losing 7db headroom

i didnt mod anything they are my favorite configs that i collected from random soundmods.search for DEC in text and play with numbers it may works there are many options to do,it is safe dont worry about bootloop

i never go over than 70% because thats painfull and ear deafening level,The distorted sound you mentioned is because of internal amp softclip at higher volumes or maybe your headphone cant handle it, i had same issue with my yamaha and earbuds they sound distorted even in first mark of volume...

Im on 5.0.2 5.1.1 and 5.0.2 audio drivers are the same rename original file and add .bak to its extension then copy my file if you had any problem with external speakers (no sound) just revert it

dont bother yourself with eq,tissue mod,etc at least you need one month to get used to it just use it and listen in lower volumes if the treble is too much for you let the time pass
