What IEM/earbud are you listening with now, and what are you listening to?
After some years I could find a Softears Cerberus I heard reccomended for acoustic jazz. Diggin into it in the last days. I actually sure love its soundstage, image and vocals rendering.- Alino

Cayin N8 TOTL DAP: KORG Nutube, Dual AK4497, 4.4mm phone/line out
I have the Onix Overture M3X. N8 (not N8ii, indeed) sounds more spaced, neutral and trasparent. I'd bet more powerful and even more versatile and capable to sound fine with low impedance iems. MX3 is my perfect 'pocket' device while N8, waiting for a desktop setup, is favored at home along with...- Alino

Cannot agree much with your review, in their segment they are one more than worth. Legend to my (old) ears sounds very good, natural and full, wide dynamics for acoustic music powered by Cayin C9 (and with N8 alone). No QC issues. I am so satisfied by how such double planar sound with classic...- Alino

It is a great player. With the last UI upgrade even better. Some UI issues not really i painting its usabilità. With the last upgrade the folder list show icons, though the other cool 4 rows icons list keeps on being incomplete (with a 1TB card). I like it notwithstanding, because it is a really...- Alino

Thank you. You did a fine work and I totally get your legit straight comments. As soon as you reminded this is a collaboration with that bovine illetterate 'audoophile' I decided to buy something else.- Alino

It is a great player. I have had some issues with the UI. Scrolling the cover it is slow and it appears its cover menu (in opposte to the folders list) just takes a part of the music I upload. It does not show all rhe folders/LPs I add, no matter how many times I update the list. An annoying...- Alino

It is very good. Surprisingly to me its textured and strong bass rendering changes with different recordings, very good with acoustic music, layered and detailed with best sounding Blue Note classics recordings I own. Great sound cohesion and musicality of the different drivers. I think you did...- Alino

Comment by 'Alino' in item 'Jomo Audio Nautilus'
Muddy Nautilus is not, for sure. Its bass may sound thumping in some recordings or even light in others (recently compared to Fan2 and Letshouer S12 2024). It sounds textured, defined and fast. Consider it needs power. Dry tech data provided apart, Nautilus must have some low (100db?)...- Alino

LZ A7 IEM's impressions and reviews thread
I like LZ A7. Its piezos edginess is sure one of its characteristics. Some friend of mine does not like a hint of metallic timbre too much in it neither (me, I do not feel much of that). If you are looking for coherence and upgrade for acoustic music, strings, actually I would reccomend Dita...- Alino

Geek Wold Discussion
This is just normal. I just asked about via Penon and (as with GK10, 100 and 200 before) they said simply to wait. Mind, with Syiuan Chen's Geek Wold company products there will be hardly any reviewers rush to test the new one, since they do not seem to keep supposedly audio enthusiasts on a...- Alino
