[Review] Sennheiser IE800: Impressions, Frustration and a bunch of What-Ifs

Will do. Thanks for the advise. I just hope that at some point Sennheiser would come to its senses re the price of their first party cables...

[Review] Sennheiser IE800: Impressions, Frustration and a bunch of What-Ifs

Just checked and there are quite a few 2.5 to 3.5mm short audio cables on Amazon for 2-3GBP. That should take care of the need for the Nokia adapter as well...

Hadn't thought of that. Thanks. Not exactly aesthetically pleasing but should do the job. I already have a Jabra Clipper which I'm not using so it will do. Guess I'll have to wait until Sennheiser realize their insanity and have a sale on the RCS cables :)

[Review] Sennheiser IE800: Impressions, Frustration and a bunch of What-Ifs

Well... that's the thing, though - there's little special about the IE800 cables to begin with. I mean the IE8s and the IE80s have replacement cables for 20-30GBP. Best IEMs for sweaty workouts

Finally decided and got a pair of refurbished Sennheiser IE8s. Can't beat the price and they sound great... just waiting for my Comply's to arrive in order to test them out at the gym.   P.S. The stock tips that come with the IE8s are so bad it hurts me.

I think I may go with the s-Jays if I do stick with that company. The bass is supposed to be better. Thanks for the comment. I'd think if the q-Jays can withstand the sweat so should the s-Jays.

    Best IEMs for sweaty workouts

Thanks for the reply!   Just checked... it doesn't seem like any of these two models is offered in Japan unfortunately, and importing will cost as much as the phones themselves... it's moments like this I wish I was back in the US... The only advantage about living here is that Audio...

    Best IEMs for sweaty workouts

Hi all,   Have been following this forum for a while now but this is the first time I decided to post.   After 5 years of everyday use my trusty Shure E4c finally died on me. The cable had broken in so many places that they had looked like crap for the past year. That said, until a few...
