i am having the same probably pretty much. e-mu 0404 usb on a laptop. 2 gz with 2 gb of ram etc. i used the DPC latency checker and usually it's under 500 but when it stutters and stuff it goes up past 30,000! What! i have no idea how to fix this

Alright I think I might go that route. Sell my PPAv2, get the T-Amp, run it from the 0404 USB, to the Polk RTi8's. Then just use the integrated headphone out on the 0404 USB. Thanks!

I just ordered the E-MU 0404 USB to go with my laptop and I plan on using the headphone out on that or my PPAV2 to drive my Denon AH-D2000's. My question is would the E-MU 0404 USB be powerful enough to drive floorstanding speakers such as these: FRYS.com*|*Polk My guess is no, but hey...

personally i liked the senn hd-280's but you said you don't like the fit. i'd also look into the v6's.

Theres rattling in my right ear from what i'm guessing is a hair. I can't remember how to take these apart safely and the thread I had bookmarked has been moved. Does anyone have a guide or pictures for taking the d2000's apart? Thanks.

you mean if i pull the screw out and pull the nut out and just try and screw them into together?

could i just put glue on the threads on the screw then insert it and hope it holds?

ok after a little while of just having the screw super glued in, it fell out and now the screw is out AND the cap on the TOP of where the screw goes fell out too. when the cap came off, so did the nut and the washer. What do i do now? i cant get this nut to go back in and the screw to actually...
