    Thanks for your help Joker. I've just checked the uk suppliers and I can get the Fischer DBA-02 mkii for the same price as the GR07. Should I go for that instead?

    Sorry to bump this but I could really use some suggestions if anyone has any, I've not bought a high quality cable before so could reall use a starting point - preferably one with fairly low-profile connections to suit the headphones!

    Just to add to the requirements - ideally I'd like the jacks on the cable to be as small as possible so that the low profile complements the headphone. That's why I'm slightly averse to making my own cable as it almost invariably means having to use a large connector because of all the soldering...
