Sony budget earphone discussion thread (MH750, MH755, MH1C, EX300, etc)
Hey guys, got a quick question about modding the MH755. Here he says to make sure the vent on the driver is aligned to the top. When I first opened up my MH755, the vents were aligned to the bottom on both sides. So I'm unsure which is it, or if it matters at all.- Airutra

DIY Cable Questions and Comments Thread
Is there any place to purchase MMCX male connectors that will ship to the US within a week or so? The only one I've found was https://www.amazon.com/Earphone-Component-Balanced-Connector-Replacement/dp/B07T1CBXJT but it's a whole set of connectors.- Airutra

DIY Cable Questions and Comments Thread
Thanks for the help! So a few of the 1/4 and 1/8 inch plugs I ordered just arrived and one of them has this extra flap that the others don't. What is this for?- Airutra

DIY Cable Questions and Comments Thread
Hey all, I'm planning to attempt to build my first headphone cable. I have no experience in anything related so I have a couple questions after reading through several guides and a bit of this thread. 1. I'm planning to use the wires from the Mogami w2893 cable. Other than the color of the...- Airutra

Hi, I'm looking for options for a portable balanced amp that's under $200. Are there any options other than the FiiO Q1 MK2 and the Earstudio ES100? Thanks.- Airutra

I think this just might be it for some reason... honestly I only have it paired on my phone but wasn't connected. However I unpaired it and so far haven't heard any popping sounds... for about 30 minutes. fingers crossed- Airutra

Radsone EarStudio ES100
Well I thought it was the earbuds because I tried headphones and didn't hear the popping. I switched out the USB cable and updated to the latest firmware (I had the previous one) and it's gone now, so I guess that's good. Thanks for the help. edit: actually it came back after like 20 minutes...- Airutra

Foobar2k, MusicBee, youtube. I guess I may see if it's the problem with my earbuds and not the ES100 unit.- Airutra

Radsone EarStudio ES100
Hello everyone, So I purchased an ES100 off amazon a week ago or so: I've noticed that I get popping sounds intermittently when using it as a dac/amp with the 3.5mm out for my laptop. However, it's fine when I use it with my phone in bluetooth. Should I just try to get it replaced by Amazon? or...- Airutra

Earbuds Round-Up
I wasn't really expecting something better at that price point. It's a bit big which causes some pain in one of my ears after a while. So I'd be mainly looking for something I could listen to for a long period of time comfortably, while occasionally listening to the Mojitos.- Airutra

Earbuds Round-Up
Hi, does anyone have any suggestions for earbuds that would be similar to the Rose Mojitos (preferably under $200)? I really like them but the fit is sort of awkward on one side. Just started looking into earbuds after ignoring them for years due to Apple earbuds...- Airutra
