Do they need an amp or would they work with just a phone? And how is their isolation?

How's the soundstage? The 535 has 3 drivers whereas Orion's only have 1. What differences do you notice? Sound signature?

Need a recommendation for ~$400 custom IEMs. I want a natural, clear sound with a present bass. 

Would $400 CIEMs sound as good as $400 IEMs? What should I go with?

I'm heading to Boston and NYC soon, and I'm also planning to get CIEMs soon. None of my local places are cheap, any places near Boston or NYC that do impressions for cheap (like $25 maybe)?

Did you get yours at a chain audiologist or a local one? 

All my local places want to charge $60+ just for impressions, and I'm already on a budget for these things. How do I get them for $20-30? Or does everyone pay so much for them?
