As a former ten-year owner of a Stax SRS-3030 system, I am glad that Stax has released a reasonably priced amplifier + headphone set. I wish I had the chance to listen to them.

My comment refers exclusively to over ear headphones, since their passive isolation capacity -from my point of view- is insufficient to enjoy the details provided by audiophile-type headphones when using them outdoors; I prefer less able headphones with the noise floor lowered thanks to ANC...

I don't consider any headphone for outdoors use without ANC. Better served with a Bose Quietcomfort or something similar.

Little experience with Android phones, but I read that you need to configure the OS to send audio thru USB. Hopefully some Andorid users will shed light on this issue.
