If you're looking for more bass in your games then you're missing the point of accurate spacial cues. Not sure about you but in an FPS the fun is in my ability to take you out, not in how loud the grenade is that you kill me with.

Just did a quick look and these appear somewhat open air. If they are I wouldn't use them for gaming. Isolation is essential.

One thing to think about at lan events. The GX400's can be rolled up and stuck in a pocket. Makes stealing them a bit harder if that's a concern. Also, a clip-on mic is going to be an omni-directional mic so that's not going to gain you anything.

Isolation an fidelity in the 6i's isn't close to what you get with the 4p's or the GX400's and they also don't have a mic, volume control, or long enough cable for many gamers.
