Ordered the PlayStation version, but if the X works fine with everything thanks to the switch, the X seems a no brainer. I don't think there's anything specific about the playstation or mac to require a specific dongle?

Awesome, thanks. Stilll waiting for mine to arrive but I have my Max Lites already. I found some 47ohm 1/4 watt 1% metal film resistors, which is cool. But I also found some 39ohm ones which seem ideal however are only 1/8 watt. Will 1/8 watt be too low for this application?

Ok I know this is wrong, but can someone explain why. If the volume control changes the resistance of the headphones, couldn't you just use a multimeter at the plug and set it to 47 ohms?
