Interesting, but why not give users the option to decide for themselves? Many phones, including Android flagships from Samsung and Google, do not have Apt-x Adaptive but do have LDAC support. The same is true of virtually all DAPs. Do the IO-12s pick up the Apt-x HD codec on supported devices...

So far, I've been lucky with the headband. If it is going to go, let's hope it is within the two year warranty period. Proper (not cosmetic) stitching, not just glue, has to be the answer going forward for premium headphones.
