I recently updated to Tidal as the source for my TT2. I was expecting it to show a different color from Spotify in the port window showing a higher resolution. I'm still just seeing red, which I thought was lowest quality even on the hifi or Master options. Am I missing anything? Thanks.

Post deleted. I figured out the answer to the questions I asked. I needed to restart my MacBook to get it to recognize the TT2 after it was plugged in the first time.

Hmm... I have a Chord Hugo TT2 and was thinking fo trying Roon and HDPlayer to upsample instead of buying an m-scaler. I've never gotten to test this stuff and don't know if I would be able to hear anything. Can you run EQs profiles in Roon and run the HDPlayer upsampeling?
