Onkyo A800 and H900M full-size headphones - shipping March 2016
Pure Luxury! Like a Bentley Continental. Glad you went for it. It's hard to believe that they are just sitting there within reach and so few have tried. These are King Krushers;-)- aafanatic

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
After listening to the DD and the SV side by side using Bass Mechanik- King of Bass: The DD has greater over head. The SV diver starts to hit the the grill or baffle after the bass goes beyound loud listening, where the DD goes farther without distortion. The SV doesn't distort, but I can hear...- aafanatic

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
@ctaxxxx The build on the sv007 is beyound the dd dxb-04. I suspect that all of these "woodys" are made in the same sweat shop on mainland China. The sv is actual over ear while the dd is psydo on ear. The sv has good sub bass but is not slanted as a bass can. The mids and highs are awesome...- aafanatic

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
Ok, you won't believe this, but after doing some research online and getting a couple of these sub $100 "woodys", I stumbled upon these: SIVGA SV007 on Amazon. Now, I could not find any information on who makes these or anything else about them. But they stank of knock off esque flagship. I am...- aafanatic

Good work on picking up that cable. JVC didn't carry the HAM77X over into the current line up. I thought the HAMR60X was going to suck, but after I changed out the pads they are pretty comfy air blowers for my wig ;-@ PS. I don't usually like in-line mics, but when I'm outside, a lot of people...- aafanatic

Review by 'aafanatic' on item 'ONKYO A800 50mm Open Back Headphone'
I was first attracted to these beacause of their looks. I always like a detatchable dual sided cable. The ribbon black and yellow cable seemed to be trying something new (think, the opposite of the HD 700 cable). Add to that, the term Flagship was bandied around so I thought I'd roll the dice. I...- aafanatic

HBB, thanks for doing the heavy lifting on the driver swap for us and sharing your findings ;-p This is the cable that I got, but it is too heavy for portable. http://www.ebay.com/itm/172035253820?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I don't take my DXB-04s outside...- aafanatic

I received these DD DXB-04, and they are awesome. They are not on ear or over ear but they are very comfortable. The included cable is meh? But the over all sound signature is nice, warm, not sibilant, and really even handed with out eq. I used the cables from my Senn HD 700 on them and me...- aafanatic

Rank the Headphones that You Own.
My iem's are easy as they are stored in ranking order: JVC HA-FXT 200ltd JVC HA-FX99X JVC HA-FX1100 Actually, scrap that. The OP wasn't asking which I liked the best, which others envy, the OP asked which I actually use the most. JVC HA-MR60X (Dog walking headphones) Sony MDR 100 aap (Dog...- aafanatic

The new JVC HA-SD7 Code name: SOLIDEDGE
@XERO1 I also have the MDR 1A and enjoy it a more than the MDR 100aap, but I think the HA-SD7 has them both beat except for price. I was able to get my MDR-1A and 100aap for $99 each ;-) I think the HA-SD7 was $170.- aafanatic

The new JVC HA-SD7 Code name: SOLIDEDGE
I have had these for a while now and they remain amazing. Crisp, fast, hard hitting bass, very comfy. I have the MDR 100aap and the sub bass on the Sony starts to distort long before these JVC. I think they are both comfy in a similar way, kind of small cups that feel yummy. The build goes to...- aafanatic
