SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A
Hey thanks for the reply. Why 2 ohm is the recommended output impedance? You're right that Wm1z has around 1 ohm, andro's earphone impedance is like 13 ohm, I thought the golden rule is to choose a source that has 1/8 of that?- a86709286

New, Burson Conductor 3 Reference: Dual 9038 DAC, 7.5Wpc Head Amp, Preamp, Changeable Opamps
I'm fairly new to this, what does each setting mean? Does it upscale 44.1 kHz file to DSD256? And why are you setting DSD512 input to DSD256 output? Sorry if it seems like a dumb question.- a86709286

DAP/DAC for CA Andromeda
Hey guys, what are your recommendations on DAP/DAC for Andromeda? Currently I'm only using my iPhone X with the dongle but it has audible hiss. I'm willing to spend some cash for a decent DAP, any suggestions? Thank you!- a86709286

So IEMs like Andromeda wouldn't work with C3? I'm having similar problem with white noise on my Andro paired with C3. The focal clear sounds amazing on it though- a86709286

Turns out Sandisk Clip Zip is not even released in Australia, and it seems Sony's Walkman E-series devices don't support flac, I'll have a look at the others, thanks for the infos.- a86709286

Oh god, so iPod Classic will have similar result as well? Need some suggestions on the source
Hey guys, I recently bought the IE80s and found out when I use it on my phone it has annoying hiss noise, did some research, it seems smart phones have cheap DAC something, so what's your guys' opinions on a good source? I'm looking at iPod classic for now, is it good with IE80? Thank you.- a86709286

Hello guys, I'm new here, just want to ask what's the difference between the 1/4 jacks and 3.5mm jacks? And why a 3.5mm to 1/4 adapter called female to male adapter? Also, what are RCA connectors? I'm looking for an external usb sound card and sound...- a86709286
