HD 650s keep breaking, is it my own ignorace?
Sorry I haven't been replying, school and such. But I went over to Audio Consultants and the Headphones are fine. Plus, since there is a lot of concern for this topic, my listening levels, now a days, average around 70-75db. I rarely dabble in 80db range and forget 90db when I use these...- A Polish Ginger

HD 650s keep breaking, is it my own ignorace?
Thank you gentlemen, I learned so many new things. I didn't think playing a pair of headphones on a AMP that can't drive them all the way would distort them if played to loud. I guess there is a fine balance point, like a lot of things in life. I also appreciate the care for my hearing, and I'll...- A Polish Ginger

HD 650s keep breaking, is it my own ignorace?
Ah so its just me. My earring is shot anyways with working/driving a 1970 454 vette and super sport motorcycles. Is there like a Audio Meter that I can download onto my computer so I can see what the max volume is before I start breaking things, because obviously my ears can't tell.- A Polish Ginger

See I like my music loud, and for some reason the right driver in my HD 650s seems to buzz/rattle at low frequencies. I have had this happen to me twice now. First pair, of HD 650s, I had...- A Polish Ginger

Problem, Got Headphones Repaired and Now They Sound So good They Hurt (HD 650)
I sent in my HD 650s for repair and when I tried to listen to them at my (near) previous levels the Headphones started to cause my ears pain after roughly 5 mins. I'm confused at to why this is happening. Could it be... a break in period is needed, The pads bind to tightly, my ears are just...- A Polish Ginger
