thebit Opus#1 DAP from South Korea
Opus has brilliant high frequencies. That's why it is so detailed and widestaged. Bigger emphasis will lead to fatigue and other problems.- 3rdmortal

I`ve tried it again and found out one more feature. When you play hi-res track (192 kHz) and turn the EQ on changes take effect immediately. But if you play simple flac file (44.1 kHz) and turn the EQ on changes take effect in 6-7 seconds only (!). Thats must be the reason why you don`t hear...- 3rdmortal

I think you just don`t hear a difference. Try to change frequencies more radical.- 3rdmortal

Don`t turn the EQ on, just make all necessary settings (with frequencies). Than return to this menu And turn EQ on. Everything works with my player.- 3rdmortal

Try to listen to such headphone as Beyerdynamic DT250. I use it with my Opus. This headphone is closed and the stage is not quite wide. But the voices sound close to the listerner. And there is a lot of sparkling on the highs too. Opus 1 is quite neutral in its sound signature so the overall...- 3rdmortal

Really liked this player. A lot of positive things have been said about it already so i don`t have anything to add. I just can say that i really love how neutral and "right" it is.- 3rdmortal

ENIGMAcoustics Dharma
I compared Dharma vs HE-560 several days ago. And my opinion is quite opposite. I think Dharma has more bass than HE-560. Hifiman sounded thin compared to Dharma. I think the amp used is the reason for such different opinions. The synergy is very important. Otherwise you will always be...- 3rdmortal

REVIEW - Yulong Audio Sabre DA8 Reference DAC
DA8 II is a real improvement over DA8 and it is easily heard. And it is very good that the price remains the same.- 3rdmortal

Questyle CMA800 Current Mode amp
Thank you. I agree with you that HPA-01 is unique product. Of course we all have different ears but i liked HD800 through current output very much. I absolutely agree that in this case HD800 becomes completely different headphone. It sounds smooth, even warm, very musical, with great amount...- 3rdmortal

Questyle CMA800 Current Mode amp
For me Bakoon HPA-01 is far superior to Questyle CMA800R. I liked listening to CMA800R+HD800 but when i bought Bakoon i was completely blown away. So there are other amps there that worth of consideration too.- 3rdmortal

Matrix M-Stage amp review: simple, cheap, and excellent.
M-Stage is not an aggressive at all. It is detailed and quite neutral. It works excellent with high impendance headphones (well, of course considering its price). And it is written on the web-site of Matrix Audio that M-Stage is especially good with high impendace headphones. So please no more...- 3rdmortal
