That's my one complaint--not very snug. (My other complaint: I fixed the forward-facing flashing Bluetooth light with a tiny piece of electrical tape.) They have a loose, 45-degree swivel (horizontal) so they conform to the angles of my ears--which are pretty flat, but don't provide any...

X7/AM5 works well with HD650 (300 ohms), too, if that's of any help.

I finally got a pair of Onkyo H500BT. Very nice, indeed! Certainly a no frills presentation and build. I like their simplicity and paired down look. And since I prefer an on-ear headphone, this adds another one which rounds out my collection (yeah, right...) Even though they are similar to...

  Doesn't the Silver Dragon cable cost more than the HD 650? Diminishing returns...   (The last Silver Dragon V3 I bought cost $415, but it was for a $2,500 headphone. And even with that, I question my sanity.)

  I wouldn't call Avantree a no-name brand. They are well known for a variety of wireless and Bluetooth adapters with many different applications. Headphones maybe not-so-much*, but it's a decent brand.   (*Meaning maybe not as well known for their headphones as their other products...)
