**Hifiman HE-400 Impressions and Discussion Thread**
Hi all, I have had my HE-400's for a couple of weeks now. Find myself listening to them more then any of my other cans. I am really enjoying the bass on these, and it is very well balanced. Only thing I did not care for was the cable, so I swapped it for a Norne Audio litz cable...huge...- 188479

Non Software EQ
Hello All, Unlike a lot of guys, I'm not running a system from a computer and can't use one of the software based EQ programs. Mostly I'm running vinyl directly to my Woo WA6-SE. What are my options for a good quality EQ device to add to the chain that won't degrade the sound? Kevin- 188479

Magnium Build
Hey all: Built a pair of "Grado" Magnium (V4) with wood chambers from Headphone Lounge and silver cable from Chris-Himself. After listening for several hours I have to say I'm very impressed! I own a few good headphones and this compares in the same level for a lot less money.- 188479

Quick Magnum Build Question
Hello, Purchased a pair of V4 Magnum's. Please take a look at the picture: I'm guessing that the terminal on the right (the one with the small dot) is for positive? Can somebody tell me if this is correct before I solder them? Thanks! Kevin- 188479

Questions about Grado comfort.
As others have stated you can adjust the clamping force by adjusting the headband. Soak the ear pads in a little water and fabric softener and they become much more comfortable. As also stated, you either like Grado's or you don't...I would never be without a pair....can't listen to the Grateful...- 188479

post your grado mods....
Hey All: Got a couple of pairs of L-Cush inbound for my HF-2 and a magnum mod. Want to try the fabric softener mod to make them more comfortable. What's the deal with this? Do I just soak them in a bowl with warm water and some fabric softener? How long? I'm guessing when they come out they get...- 188479

post your grado mods....
Hi All: Got the parts coming in over the next week or two to start my first mod. Going with the Vibro wood cups, Magnum drivers, silver cable from Chris (Himself) and probably a Headphone Lounge leather headband. So two questions for all who have done this, should I be looking at any...- 188479

Hey all: Reading about all the great Magnum projects tempts me to build a pair. Would the sound be different enough from my HF-2 to be worth it?- 188479

Grado modders go Magnum
Hey all: Never tried a DIY project, but would like to maybe try this. Just a few starter question for you experienced folks. So it looks like I could order a set of drivers, get a headband, woodies and cable from Headphone Lounge...how about the rest? What would I use for the side holders and...- 188479
