Which headphone is better and is there much of a difference sound wise?

I have not heard the Beyer's but if they are anything like the other models there will definitely be different. I had a pair of Alpha Dogs but sold to fund a bigger purchase and really loved them.

The opposite perspective: I'm unfamiliar with the Alpha Dogs, but still own and love the T5p (albeit mine are modded).
They are easy to drive: even straight off a mobile phone they will sound very close to their full potential. The sound is very dynamic and detailed, but their tonality is not to everyone's liking. There seems to be a fair difference between the samples, so I would recommend having a listen before you buy.
