Hello,

So my setup is Fidelio X2 > V-Moda BoomPro > Sennheiser GSX 1000 and I am experiencing channel imbalance with the right side being louder. Doesn't matter if I have the mic connected or if I use the 4 pole splitter at all and the imbalance is not present using any other aux cable.

I contacted V-Moda and they offered to send a new BoomPro if I just send them a picture of the device cut up - I figured I may as well try to identify the problem.

I managed to cut the device up with everything still working and this is where I'm at now.
So I wonder which cable I have to cut in order to remove the functionality of the volume wheel, if that's at all possible.
I want to cut that out before the mic so I can't just guess which one it is.
3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 are L/R and ground I assume, which leaves M+(1 and 6) and M-(2 and 7).

So which wire should I cut?

In case anyone was interested I'll post this update.

Screwing with the box proved futile, so I just cut it out and went on with the wire.
Upon stipping the wire I was greeted with yellow fluff+blue+red+copper+black rubber wire, inside the black rubber wire there was wiring and a green wire.
Inside each of the small wires there was additional yellow fluff.

Decided it would be futile to attempt restore the two ends.
Hope someone finds this useful.
