So this is a very unusual question, but a friend of mine bought me a set of surplus army tank Bose headphones normally for use in army tanks. It has a very odd cable and I wasn't sure if this was some kind of cable that could be converted into a 3.5mm for use with standard audio devices? Thanks in advance and sorry if it's a stupid question.

As long as you can find L+, R+, and L-, R- or GND, no problem.

I know it's been a week or so, but I have had many cables re-terminated (although none as unique as this) by David at Triton Audio Cables who does incredible work. He's on the forums here too and might be able to offer the same service on this unique cable. @alpha421
