Turning on iBasso D2+Boa with headphones plugged in

I recently got iBasso D2+ Boa from the iBasso site and it's my first amp that I got (if not including the Fiio E3). I was wondering if I will damage the headphones if I turn on the iBasso D2 with headphones plugged in? Thanks
