Hello there Head-Fiers, as I mentioned in the title of this thread, I am trying Reddit for the first time and I was wondering if anybody had recommendations for subreddits. They don't neccesarily have to be audio-related, but I would prefer for the communities to be smaller in size (not with millions of subscribers, but not dormant either. Something similar to Head-Fi) and focused on technological subjects.

R/headphones
R/askhistorians
R/books
R/philosophy
R/askscientists

All are friendly and well-modded communities. Beyond that you'll have to look for specific things that interest you. I enjoy cooking so r/eatcheapandhealthy and r/askculinary are fun for me. For working out r/loseit and r/bodyweightfitness. How the community is moderated is important; a well modded community is a fun place to learn and develop new interests.
