So I have a ODAC/O2 combo and it is just bad, plain bad. My headphones are HE 560, k612's and very soon also a pair of he 500's and maybe HD 800's (none s).
So for my amp upgrade I am very compelled by the meier audio corda classic, not the ff version the OG one. Why? because it is said to be very neutral and very good for the price, nothing of the warm "normal" hifi sound, but rather a very clean, neutral and analytical sound. It cost about 600€, which isn't bad at all.
For DAC I am a bit more all over the place at what I am looking at. I kinda want a DAC with MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) support, but very few DACs right now has support for that, plus it is far from sure that it actually becomes a thing instead of just dying out very fast.
I also want something with two outputs that I can switch between (like a set of balanced out and a set of unbalanced would be ideal). I don't care much about the inputs.
My combined budget is about 2200€, but I don't need to use them all.
I will only buy from stores inside EU.
