Is this out soon?

I am thinking of buying an Asgard 2 but obviously I don't want to if the 3 is out shortly.

Alternatively anything else to recommend for the same budget £400 max? I Run philips X2, would like LCD's at some point in my life though.

I will be running it on one of those £30 behringer DAC's UC220 I think... I don't think it is worth spending money on a DAC until you hit the £1000 level ie not much difference between a £30 dac and a £1000 DAC.

I ran a beresford dac back in the day and noticed no difference between having a dac and no dac except for line noise when muted.

Asgard 2 IMO is a good amp for its price. It makes my CA Vega IEM sound even more impactful while having more treble extension than straight iPhone or Chord Mojo. You have to feed it with a good DAC though to reveal its strengths.

As for Asgard 3, I don't think it'll come since Jotunheim is kind of the successor to it. Schiit themselves moved on to Pivot Point instead of MOSFET in amplification.
