Hi,
I need to replace my AKG K540's, I'd like something of a similar sound quality and price (I think they were around $240 about 5 years ago).
The 540's were good but the arches broke about three times. This time the frame broke at the end closest to the ear piece so won't repair. Otherwise they were really good.
I don't want noise cancelling or wireless. I'd rather spend the $$$ on a good, basic set, preferably a bit more robust though.
Use is mainly YouTube and general music. nothing specific but if I had to pick I'd say electronic ala Chemical Bros etc
