Hello there folks,
My old HFI-580s have gone through countless modifications and repairs, but I think it might be time to call it quits. As you can see the metal shield on the left cup is detaching, and any time there's a bass note the shield flaps around and vibrates in an extremely annoying way.
So. Anyone have any recommendations as to what kind of adhesive to use to stick this thing back? It looks like the original adhesive was a double sided pad that's cut to fit around the holes, which is presumably impossible to find or replicate. I tried using some strong CA, but that gave way after not much use at all.
Thanks for reading!
