Many vendors (like this one) sell the headphone connectors as a red and black pair.  I don't want to make a cable that has one red connector, and one black connector. So...
 

• Are the left/right connectors interchangeable? Could I buy 2 pairs, and just use 2 black, or 2 red, in a single cable?
• Are there any vendors that sell them in color matched pairs? Both the HPSC by Cardas and FT-2PS by Furutech are also red and black pairs.
