Hey,

My FiiO X1 no longer shows any music in genres, artists, albums, etc..  The only place it shows music is through looking in individual folders, including my folder of playlists.

Here are some of the steps I've taken to troubleshoot (None have fixed it), most have been tried a bunch of times each:

1. Rebooted the unit
2. Did a hard reset on the unit
3. Removed the microSD card and put it back in (With some boots with nothing in between sometimes)
4. Reinstalled the firmware (Version 2.0) from another microSD card
5. Recharged the unit
6. Did a manual update of the media library (Must have tried this like a dozen times)

Anyone got anything else to try?

I've had it just under a year, looks like a goner to me, but since it's replacement would be a big investment, I've taken several days with it and am making a last ditch effort to see if anyone has any other ideas before I give up.

The microSD card is fully readable and writable from Windows.  I even tried having Windows "fix" it (All microSD cards used by the X1 show up on Windows 10 as having problems, presenting an error message when the X1 is connect via USB, but only when they are in the X1, usually I just ignore it and sync more music, but since I was trying everything, I said sure Windows, fix it- when it actually went through the process, it said there were no errors to fix.  It still works as usual in file explorer- the files are fine).

Dear ChamCityCrab,

Sorry to hear about that and sorry for the late reply. Can the computer read your card via the X1? Can you still play the songs from browse folder? You may aslo try to reset the media library from settings. You can send email to support@fiio.net or PM us about that.

Best regards
