I have the tesla drivers up and running. I have a slight channel imbalance (right side a bit softer) this is probably a wiring problem.. the Right cup has a 0.5mm 5n copper silver plated wire running overhead. Which is clearly to thin for the 600 ohm drivers. So I will look for some thicker wire. 
 
So far I REALLY like the drivers. HUGE resolution and tons of power. But I still need to do some tweaking on acoustics. Even though the frequency ranges seem really balanced, there is also some hollow flavor to be found. Which in turn give quite a gigantic soundstage, but it's not to my liking yet. 
 
Will play with more filter paper and filt.

At 250 usd its hard for people to buy and experiment. I think thise titanium and berylium drivers from the same seller ae much more tempting for DIyers

Oh wow, they went super crazy with that price. Material-wise I don't think there's anything in that speaker justifying such a high price, especially if it's a replica and they just copied Beyerdynamic's design.

Are these drivers actually any good? I mean they look similar to T1 ones, but do they sound considerably or any better than stock DT770 drivers?
