Hey all, i did some searching and could not find an answer. If i were to build an impedance adapter with 75ohm resistors, what wattage and voltage resistors should i be using? I was about to purchase some but hesitated due to not knowing what voltage/ wattage resistors to get. Any recommendations? Its for headphones and In-ear monitors. a friend recommended the brand vishay. TIA.

1/4 or 1/8 W resistors will be fine. You could calculate exactly what you need from the specs of your amp or headphones, but it's going to be much less than that 125mW. Most headphones I've seen have a sensitivity of at least 90dB @1mW, and you're probably not going to listen over 90dB. If your headphones were 16 Ohms, then the 75 Ohm resistors would take almost 5 times that power, so only 5mW.
