Looking to buy a headphone for long-term studying. I prefer my headphones to be as light as possible, but I also find on-ears to be uncomfortable after a couple hours. Basically, the requirements I'm looking for are:

Closed
Around-ear
Under 200g, preferably around 180g
No crazy clamping force

Sound quality isn't important. They can sound like 1st gen beats solos for all I care.

Currently the only headphone I have on my list is the Koss UR42. But I've heard bad things about Koss and build quality. Any other suggestions?

You might check out the AT ATH-M30X. It weighs 220 gm and meets all your other requirements. It could work for you.
