Pros: microSD slot, rechargeable battery lasts long, plugs directly into PC, onboard radio and eq.
Cons: bricks every now and then
Got this mp3 player because it's got a microSD slot and the battery lasts a good six hours even with the volume maxed out (when I use my full-size circum-aural phones)

Got it to work with an 8Gb SanDisk microSD HC (class 6)

The firmware is updateable (although there hasn't been a new version released for quite a while, since this model has been discontinued by SanDisk)

I recommend this player only to advanced users however, because it has frozen on me for about 10 times (a simple soft or hard reset resolves this) and completely bricked twice (the last time it happened I had to read through the SanDisk user forums for a few hours, take the device to another PC, install custom drivers, downgrade the firmware manually, then upgrade it again just to get it working again. Needless to say, it took me quite a while to figure it out.)

Bottom line: unless you are prepared to throw it away the first time it bricks, be ready for some debricking...
