Did I permanently damage my hearing?
it's not serious enough to even warrant the copay for a doctors appointment. I figured since head-fi is so big on sound quality, there would be at least one audiologist on the site. Quote:- nullPointerException

Did I permanently damage my hearing?
On march 3rd I went to a flatliners concert. It was extremely loud music blaring in a very small space. If I had thought ahead of time I would have brought ear plugs, but alas I did not. Anyway, the sound was so loud that directly after the concert my ears hurt for a few hours, and I had...- nullPointerException

JVC/Victor FX700 - The Successor (early Easter Bunny brought something very nice!)
I did some research and sent someone who's had both the monster and hybrids a pm, ended up going with the hybrids. about the cable, is it just me or does it have horrible stereophonics? joker claimed it didn't, but whenever I move my head and the wire hits my face I can hear noise.- nullPointerException

colorfly ck4 vs rocoo-p, which is better?
Hi all, I dropped my s:flo2 and the screen cracked. It still works perfectly fine, taped up the bottom where it cracked and the touch screen works on top of the tape, but I think it is time for something else as I can no longer stand the ****ty ui/gui (I don't care about features, but that thing...- nullPointerException

JVC HA-FX700 vs Monster Miles Davis Tribute
Yeah, thanks. It's not the top of my list, but if I did find them lacking I could always buy a cmoyBB from john. CMoy's are both warm and not too expensive, so I am sure it'll help that out a bit -
JVC HA-FX700 vs Monster Miles Davis Tribute
I decided to get the JVC ha-fx700 over the monsters, some other factors came into play that were negative enough to take away the benefits of the price: 1) the issues in build quality 2) they are being discontinued, and if I need to RMA getting trumpets, monster would give me the trumpets... -
JVC HA-FX700 vs Monster Miles Davis Tribute
Quote: Quote: Thanks guys, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the miles davis. I read somewhere that It likes power, so I fear that my sflo2 may not satisfy it. what do you guys think of a cheap amp like the ibasso t3, cmoyBB, or fiio e11? I'm leaning towards getting... -
JVC HA-FX700 vs Monster Miles Davis Tribute
Quote: *Sigh*, if only they cost the same price, then I would not have this dilemma. Do you think a portable amp could open up the sound stage and make them sound more natural? -
JVC HA-FX700 vs Monster Miles Davis Tribute
Meh, screw it. The price for the MMDT is just too good, I can't justify spending more than twice as much money for the JVC HA-FX700 regardless that they fit my tastes a bit better. Guess I'm buying the mmdt, thanks. -
JVC HA-FX700 vs Monster Miles Davis Tribute

I am currently looking to upgrade to either the JVC HA-FX700 or the Monster Miles Davis Tribute. I currently own both the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 and the Shure SE-210. JVC HA-FX700 vs Monster Miles Davis Tribute
Quote: Thank you for your help Do you think that the advantages the fx700 has towards my tastes warrant me spending twice as much money? Do you think that I would find the bass on the MMDT overbearing, or that it would take away from the rest of the music -- especially for... -

Headphones under $100
