I should already know this, but I'm having a brain cramp right now. On most speaker wire one of the strands usually has a white line going through it. Does this white line mean negative or positive? I'm pretty sure it's negative, but I just wanted to verify it is. Thanks

How does the comfort of HD595/555 compare to the comfort of the HD650 ?

I currently own a Terratec EWX 24/96 and I have a chance to get a RME DIGI96/8 PAD for a farely decent price. Is the RME DIGI96/8 PAD that much better than the Terratec EWX 24/96? I would be using it with a Singlepower PPX3 and Sennheiser HD 555's (I'll be getting the 650's eventually).

If you do, do you use the analog outs > amp or do you use optical out > external dac > amp? If you use an external dac which one do you use?

I've got an amp and I am looking for something like an audio input switcher that I could plug multiple components into and then plug that into the amp. that way every time I switch sourcers I don't have to unplug and replug in the interconnects.
