Portable DVD Player
Hello, I'm looking to get a portable dvd player and I was wondering what you guys think is the best one to get. Screen size isn't a big deal but I would prefer it to have a digital out and it needs to be able to play dvd +/- rw's. Also a long battery life would be nice as well. I'm looking to...- slimer

Question about speaker wire
I should already know this, but I'm having a brain cramp right now. On most speaker wire one of the strands usually has a white line going through it. Does this white line mean negative or positive? I'm pretty sure it's negative, but I just wanted to verify it is. Thanks- slimer

Zu Mobius
Hi all, I just purchased a Zu Mobius cable about a week ago to go with my 650's. Right off the bat I can tell that it sounds better than the stock cable, but one thing I noticed about it is that it is very microphonic. Much more than the stock cable. Is this always a characteristic with the...- slimer

Sennheiser HD-650 w/ Zu Cable
Would it be pointless to get the Zu cable for the 650's if my ic's (Monster Cable Interlink 200 ) aren't up to par. Would I need better ic's to get the full potential of the Zu with the 650?- slimer

I currently own a Terratec EWX 24/96 and I have a chance to get a RME DIGI96/8 PAD for a farely decent price. Is the RME DIGI96/8 PAD that much better than the Terratec EWX 24/96? I would be using it with a Singlepower PPX3 and Sennheiser HD 555's (I'll be getting the 650's eventually).- slimer

External DAC
I am sure this is a dumb question, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. What exactly is the use of an external DAC. I am using a Terratec EWX 24/96 (which has an optical out) hooked straight to my amp with the analog outs. Is there any reason to need to go from my sound card > exernal...- slimer

small ears
I have really small ears and I am intersted in getting some new in ear phones. I currently have the ex71's with the smallest ear piece and they just barely fit (they seem to get a decent seal though). I have narrowed it down to the Shure E2c's and the Etymotic ER-4P's. Which one is going to be...- slimer
