Few dubts those uber-neutral reference Shure iem tell very close the exact z1m2 signature

then , how to live without physical bass or that physical timber appeal after xe6 ( on other iems or cans ) , a mistery a black hole with no solution to me

my exp with ciem and uiem is exactly the same👀 upped organicity through frequencies ( which feels less digital and less peaking at times / less peak behavior ) but a bit rolled on microdetails perception more smooth in drawing contrasts with ciem, but somewhat more convincing too, more natural...

i see and relate completely through your comment , as well , still ..DSEE feels to me like it un-nature the original ( at times raw :/ ) feeling of the recording, sorta tighten and close a bit the stage , notes or instrument position/ space expression are tightened..and on some rec I know...

I've come using DC Phase type B high too with xe6 ( on 1am2 though now ) best match for them I guess ..

I sorta sold 1zm2 for couple reasons..bass bloat , lack of dynamics and 'not a reference sound' among them, and a tad slow for my ultimate p.r.a.t likings ( also 1am2 was a bit faster and lighter in sound , so the switch ..) It paired and pairs awesomely with multiple cans , planars included...

Pretty different experience with xe6 and 1zm2 here,... do you eq 1zm2 for xe6 or run them 'raw' ( direct or little dsp on )?

would be great you'd provide an even brief comparison between sp3k and 1zm2 , considering 1zm2 might be a used unit hence already passing and passed the 'infamous' 200hr ..

I got to hear xe6 Jewel and Trailli side by side for some time. I had no many dubts which one was more likely to win on me and be the keeper .. But I would probably have all them in my collection : if I could afford it. Also I've always been more into a one-solution or one setup only for music...

Practically ( on 1am2 ) : a completely different sound signature(s), which completely addressed (imo) the main 1am2 problem ( thirst for dyanmics!) and more of course Nothing new😄😊
