I have tried classe, audiomat, plinius , flying mole and other class D amp. class D amps seems like the amp for k1000 if more bass is needed. anyway. out of the amp that you tried, which one gives the most bass output for k1000? thank you.

I am thinking about getting Tenor OTL( output transformerLess Tube Amp ) to Drive my akg k1000, does anyone try this combo before? do you think they will be ideal match? I am abit worry becuase i heard Tenor OTL amp is only stable when they are run with a speaker that has a benign impedence...

If you have a source with volume control or own a tube preamp already. try good old classe power amp with your k1000. it is better than the flying mole SA-50 digital amp, T-amp, and super T that I tried. it even compare favoribly against my EL84 audiomat arpege reference! yes, classe doesn't...
